Challenge Instruction

🌙 Welcome to the Qur’an Challenge

The Qur’an Challenge is an interactive and engaging way to strengthen memorization and listening skills while promoting accurate and confident Qur’an recitation.

How it works:

• Each participant is registered in the system and assigned a specific range of surahs from which their test verses will be drawn.
  Range assignment could be, Hizb, Juzz, Class or specific Surah.
• The admin will announce the current player by broadcasting his/her name/category across the participants' screens.
• Only the announced player is to make use of the “Pick a Verse” button on the challenge window.
• The system randomly selects a verse from the participant’s assigned range.
• The Qur’an text appears on all participants’ screens, and the current player or anyone can use the “Play Verse” button to listen to the recitation before attempting.
• Each player is to continue recitation from the given verse until he/she gets a prompt from the admin asking him/her to stop.
• Use the arrow on the left side of your screen to show or hide the Qur’an text. You can also click anywhere on the Qur’an text to hide it.
• During recitation, a red light alerts of a mistake, and a green light signals the reciter to stop.
• The system runs on a full video conferencing setup, enabling smooth and direct communication between the admin and participants.
• For the best experience, participants should keep their microphones muted except when it’s their turn or they need to speak. The admin has full control over all microphones.
• participants can indicate intent to speak without interupting the session by using the raise hand icon and an admin will call on them at appropriate time.
• Included also is a chat function for a complete and interactive experience.
• Before joining the challenge room, enter your unique name as you will want to be recorgnised in the session (example names: AbuHasanain, Papa Khadijah, Ummu Muhammad, Yusuf Aliy).
